Inkbind Privacy Policy

Inkbind stores the quote and payment data your store needs to close B2B deals. We do not sell customer data, show ads, or use quote contents for marketing. Billing runs through Shopify. Transactional email may include the buyer's address and quote summary.

Inkbind is a Shopify app developed by Exeebit, operated by Emran Hossain Sagor. Contact: support@exeebit.com.

On behalf of the merchant (the data controller), Inkbind may store:

• Shop identifiers and settings (domain, timezone, notification preferences)
• Quote records: line items, prices, payment behavior (pay now / deposit / net / COD), status history, and merchant notes
• Buyer contact details provided for a quote (name, email, shipping address when collected)
• Negotiation history (messages, counter-offers) and activity log entries
• On Pro: e-signature name, image, IP, and timestamp when a buyer signs a quote
• Shopify draft order and order IDs created from accepted quotes; payment schedule metadata
• B2B company profiles and credit limits configured by the merchant

To provide the quoting and payment workflow: RFQ intake, quote delivery, negotiation, acceptance, deposit/balance or deferred payment, and merchant notifications. Lawful basis is typically performance of a contract or the merchant's legitimate interest in serving B2B buyers.

Installation and subscription billing are handled by Shopify. We receive shop session tokens and plan entitlements required to run the embedded app. We do not store full payment card numbers — card checkout happens on Shopify.

• Hosting / database — application data (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Resend — transactional email (quote ready, reminders, balance invoices, order confirmations)
• Upstash Redis — short-lived rate-limit keys only
• Shopify — draft orders, orders, webhooks, Admin API

Quotes and related activity are retained while the merchant keeps them, or until Shopify GDPR webhooks require deletion. On shop uninstall, we process shop/redact after a grace period and delete store data. Customer redact clears or anonymizes PII on matching quotes, including e-signature fields.

Merchants and their customers may request access or deletion via Shopify's privacy tools or by emailing support@exeebit.com. Merchants can also export data from Inkbind settings where available.
