ClearSite Privacy Policy

1. The short version
ClearSite does not collect your browsing data. The extension processes history, cookies, cache, and storage entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. We do not track what sites you visit, erase, or protect.
2. Who we are
ClearSite is developed by Exeebit, operated by Emran Hossain Sagor. Contact: support@exeebit.com.
3. What the extension stores locally
ClearSite uses chrome.storage.local on your device to save:
- Your protected sites (whitelist)
- Auto-cleanup rules you configure
- Never-log block list entries
- 30-second undo backups (temporary, auto-expire)
- Onboarding and free-feature usage timestamps (e.g. weekly breakdown peek)
- Pro license key (if you purchase Pro)
This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly export a backup.
4. What the extension does NOT do
- Send browsing history to any server
- Run analytics or telemetry on your browsing activity
- Require an account to use the free version
- Compare you against other real users (benchmark estimates are computed on-device only)
5. Pro license verification
If you purchase ClearSite Pro, the extension may contact our license server to validate your license key. This request includes your license key and extension version — not your browsing history. If our server is unreachable, Pro features continue working for a grace period, then ask you to re-activate.
6. This website (exeebit.com/clearsite)
When you visit our marketing site, we may use analytics cookies only with your consent, following our general Exeebit Privacy Policy. That policy covers Stripe payment processing if you buy a Pro license.
